2000 Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act

The Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act becomes law. In 2004, BJA and OVC begin supporting anti-human trafficking task forces set up to investigate and prosecute human trafficking cases and improve services to trafficking survivors.
