OJP, the COPS Office and the Office on Violence Against Women launch the Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation to streamline the grant application process for tribes. By close of Fiscal Year 2017, OJP has awarded more than 1,800 grants totaling over $823 million for issues ranging from at-risk youth and violence against women to community policing and corrections alternatives.
